Animal wellbeing is paramount in the cattle industry, yet traditional weighing and handling can be stressful and labour-intensive. Our photogrammetric station network captures calibrated 3D imagery as cattle move naturally through the feedlot, delivering precise measurements of live-weight proxies, body condition, and even skeletal conformation without physical restraint. These data give producers reliable, science-based insights for day-to-day valuation, performance benchmarking and the long-term genetic improvement of high-quality herds.
Replicating cattle breeds with advanced 3D modelling.
Scientifically accurate cattle health monitoring without immobilisation of animals.
Providing the size and quality of cattle to farmers.

The current foot & mouth disease outbreak is unfortunately delaying deployment of our station at Morgan Beef, but we are making the necessary steps to continue development.
Through funding from Technology Innovation Agency, PhotoVolumtriX is in the process of setting up a new station at the Agricultural Research Centre's (ARC) Bull Testing Facility for upcoming data collection. Within the next month or so, we should have sufficient data for training automated feature detection models, for automated measurement.
